TUNE is a wearable to improve running form and fitness, the foundations to improve performance and minimize injuries.
TUNE goes beyond collecting and providing personalized information on HOW you run, as different runners have different bodies and different running styles, benefiting from personalized fitness plans to address those differences.
Why is knowing HOW I run important?
When running every step you take depends on your balance, strength, elasticity and stance, so knowing how you do it is an opportunity to improve, leading to a better overall performance and wellbeing.
For runners of all levels, having a basic understanding of running can help get insights into your own running form and to make improvements. Your improvement, not only depends on conditioning and training, but mastering your own individual running style, opposed to basing your training on what works for everyone else.
How does TUNE collect this data?
TUNE gathers information on how you run directly from the most valuable and trustworthy source — your feet –– the most effective way to accurately gather information on HOW you move.
TUNE ENHANCES COACHES WORK
Performance matters. So, Kinematix TUNE provides coaches with valuable insights into their athletes running performance and technique. Once the information is shared, they’ll receive information regarding distance, time, speed changes, altitude (other information is also available and ready to share). Getting this information will also help coaches to know their runners better and provide better support.
(Coming 2017)
ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
- Not everyone wants to carry a phone when they run, so TUNE connects to your smart watch so that you can still gather your run data and then evaluate post-run.
(Coming 2017)
- Two or more runners at home? No need to buy more than one TUNE system (as long as you don’t run at the same time). Just buy extra pairs of insoles and share the devices amongst the runners.
DISCLAIMER
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
